Sheila Buchbinder
Board Chair
Dr. Sheila Buchbinder brings to the board her extensive experience as a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist. In addition to her private practice specializing in laparoscopic surgery, she has served as a consultant for women’s health care issues on the state and federal levels. Dr. Buchbinder has taught laparoscopic surgery and published to share her expertise. She has also participated in the design and development of innovative medical technologies.
Dr. Buchbinder’s honors include awards from American Women’s Medical Association and Lang Publishing. She graduated from Brown University’s Program in Medical Education and completed her training at Sloane Hospital for Women at Columbia University’s Presbyterian Hospital.
