Dr. Lois Richards has more than 50 years of experience in a variety of management, teaching, and leadership roles in the nursing field. She is an incredibly gifted caregiver, instructor, and administrator. Dr. Richards began her career at Faulkner Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Her work in the Palm Beaches has included serving as director of Medicross Nursing Services and assistant director of Nursing Ridge Terrace Health Care Center. Since 1990, Dr. Richards has been the president and executive director of Academy for Nursing and Health Occupations. Her numerous accolades include a Nurse of the Year award from Palm Health Foundation and first place distinction awards for best program in the nation, 2000-2006, from National League for Nursing.
